What would you do with a Terabit? Watch what SC13'ers did with #SCinet #hpcmatters
Posted on Monday, March 31, 2014
For the duration of the SC13 conference, SCinet measured all of the data traffic flowing in and out of the Denver convention center to and from destinations around the world! SC attendees and exhibitors produced this traffic through state-of-the-art demos highlighting HPC advances in climate research, earthquake simulation, high energy physics, etc. Each year, SCinet gives the conference the ability to perform these demos with the fastest network services available.
This video condenses 7 days worth of network traffic down to less than a minute! Watch nearly a Terabit of capacity in action!
