There are three general topics of discussion: funding and sustainability, community outreach and user support, and hiring, recruitment and retention. The beginning of this BOF will showcase team presentations from Northwestern, University of Michigan, Princeton, University of Chicago, and Columbia on successes, current struggles, and future plans. The latter part of the BOF will be used to continue the discussion. The intended audience for this BOF is university staff involved in research computing (primarily HPC), such as directors and managers, support staff, and students.
