DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:ABSTRACT: The objective of this work was to run the ADVanced CIRCulation (ADCIRC) storm surge modeling software on the Stampede Super Computer at the Texas Advanced Computing Center.  In order to take advantage of the Intel Xeon Phi Co-Processors, we identified code hotspots from the host processors and then increased the speed by implementing OpenMP on parallel work. We then worked to offload the threaded work on the Xeon-Phis in order to identify speed up in comparison to previous test.
